CHANDRIKA

A fragrant green bar of soap in a green pack – these are etched memories in the minds of a South Indian consumer of an evergreen brand, Chandrika. Their new product Chandrika oil faced a unique challenge in communicating its identity to its customers in Kerala. The white and green packaging had failed. The brand Chandrika that everyone knew was not recognizable anymore.

Our approach
The product, a bottle of herbed oil, carried the essence of Kerala within. And we brought the very essence onto its packaging. The entire process of making the oil in a traditional Kerala home with the bowl, the herbs was something that every Kerala home could relate to. The new packaging captured all these elements evocatively in the design along with its signature Chandrika green. The result? A relatable product and a happy customer!
